    Fundraisers & Events Cape Area VFD hosts fundraisers and events that are charitable and bring joy to the community. Check out our past fundraisers and events below. Chief and Robert cooks pickleball Cape hotdogs for Pickleball 2 Chief and Robert cooks pickleball 1/15 Equipment and Capabilities The Cape Area Volunteer Fire Department (CAVFD) currently has a Fire Engine and Booster truck. Additionally, the CAVFD has a boat for water rescues with both radar and sonar capabilities to help locate drowning victims. The boat also has firefighting capabilities. The CAVFD currently has an application and fundraiser to acquire a drone to help locate missing persons in land and water, fugitives, and to assist Special Response Teams (SRT). If you would like to donate to the CAVFD, you can mail a check payable to "Cape Area VFD" at P.O. BOX 1608, Coldspring, TX 77331 or drop a check off at the Cape Royale POA office. You may also donate through PayPal to capeareavfd@gmail.com . Donations of boats, cars, and RV's are also accepted. Contact Randy Hall for more information at 1 (713) 515-0555.

    Discover CapeAreaVFD The Cape Area Volunteer Fire and Water Rescue Department is a 501(c)(4), non-profit emergency services organization located at 8 Sales Drive, Coldspring Texas 77331. About the Cape Fire Department Starting in 2000, our focus has expanded significantly over the years and includes various major emergency responses, including: rapid 24/7 structure and wildland fire fighting, traffic control for motor vehicle accidents, water rescue on Lake Livingston and Trinity River, as well as search and rescue We support fire prevention and preparedness training and regularly provide mutual aid to surrounding Fire Stations, Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens, Local Law Enforcement, The Texas Highway Patrol, the Texas Forrest Service and the United States Coast Guard.
